WESTERN BHUTAN TOUR IV

This 12-nights/13-days ‘’WESTERN BHUTAN TOUR IV’, which is a combination of Western Bhutan Tour with 5-days Cultural Trek to Laya, takes you to the ruins of Drugyel Dzong, Taktshang Monastery, Kichu Lhakhang, Rinchenpung Dzong and National Museum in Paro; Tashichho Dzong, National Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, Zilukha Nunnery, Simtokha Dzong, Institute for Traditional Medicine, National Library, Institute for Zorig Chusum, Farmers’ Centenary Market, Tango/Cheri Monastery, Pangri Zampa Lhakhang, Kuensel Phodrang/Sangay Gang, and Druk Wangyel Lhakhang and Chortens at Dochula in Thimphu; Punakha Dzong, Khamsum Yuelley Chorten, and Chimi Lhakhang in Punakha; Tashithang/Damji, Gasa Hot Springs, Gasa Dzong, Chamsa, and Laya in Gasa; and Gangtey Goenpa and hikes in villages around in Phobjikha valley, and Wangdi Phodrang Dzong in Wangdi.

5-days Cultural Trek to Laya gives you a chance to visit the isolated nomadic community of Laya. [Max elevation: Beli La pass at 3,900m/ Trek difficulty: Easy-moderate/ Season: April-October].

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing
Day 03: Thimphu – Gasa Tshachu via Punakha
Day 04: Gasa Tshachu – Chamsa (Trek begins)
Day 05: Chamsa – Laya
Day 06: Laya Sightseeing (Halt)
Day 07: Laya – Chamsa
Day 08: Chamsa – Gasa Tshachu (Trek ends)
Day 09: Gasa Tshachu – Punakha Sightseeing
Day 10: Punakha – Gangtey Sightseeing
Day 11: Gangtey – Thimphu Sightseeing
Day 12: Thimphu – Paro Excursion to Taktshang Monastery
Day 13: Departure from Paro International Airport
